In Unconference Sessions , Participants talk, Experts listen and offer solutions.
“Unconferences aren’t disorganised or unorganised! They are simply a different format for learning and discussion to take place.
Instead of a conventional programme of keynote speaker sessions, the attendees decide what they want to talk about on the day well in advance and an agenda can be set.
A preset unconference agenda is posted on the wall with time slots.
Anchor shall share the agenda or set of questions participants would like to discuss for the session well in advance.
It is the responsibility of participants to turn up to that session and join the discussion thread, ask the questions to Experts who shall listen to the audience and offer solutions.
Unconference sessions can be called "spontaneous collisions” — the value of people spontaneously crossing paths, exchanging ideas.
Unconferences feel very different. The energy builds and stays high.
Nobody is giving a presentation – unconferences are all about conversations.
They give participants the opportunity to have an unfiltered exchange of innovative ideas.
But that’s the beauty of unconferences – they are unrehearsed and unexpected.
One thing they are not is boring.
